A Different Kind of List.

This list, which coprised the only entries on Festo Pentecoste, 1775, is different from the rest. There are no married pairs and no widows. It appears to me to be a list of boys and girls from a catechism or confirmation class. The name of Georg Conrad appears there at #1.  He is 12 years old, born May 14, 1763.  He appears on the list of communicants in the fall of that year.

Help me understand what the different categories of individuals mean:

Cateohumeni puen.? Recieving instruction prior to baptism? To communion?

Veteres?  Novitu?... Different stages of instruction?
