Affing. House Nummer 33 1/2

This is the family register of Andreas Baÿerl.  The column headings are the same as for Leonhard's. Andreas and his family live in house number 33 1/2 which I am assuming is part of house number 33.  This is a Baÿerl house and in fact is where Leonhard and his children were born. Andreas is the nephew of my GGG Grandfather Leonhard.  His father, Rupert, is brother to Leonhard. (This from other records.  See the family tree on-line.)

Andreas was born in Affing 9 Apr 1814 and is a Häusler. He married a woman whose first name I have trouble with but appears to be Genovefa and whose maiden name is Fischer. They were married on 24 Feb 1846.  The couple have two children, Anna M. (who does not survive) and Joseph.

The third column has a wealth of information.  The first item gives the name of the parents of Andreas: Rupert (died 10 Aug 1819) and Barbara Ellinger who lived until 1862. (I have their marriage record which links this family to mine through Rupert's parents Johann and Magdalena.)  [Addendum.  We now know the village where Johann was born: Edenreid, nearby to the south-east of Affing (Map). Brothers Leonhard and Rupert were born in Affing however.]

The next item lists the Geschwister (siblings) of Andreas and their birth dates: Katharina, Joseph, Kreszenz, and Barbara. Joseph is noted to be associated with house number 50.

The next items are Schwester Kinder (sister's children). These are described as ausserehe, which means out of wedlock. Children of Katharina are 1. Kreszenz, 2. Aloÿs., 3. M. Anna (who herself has a child Otto), 4. Rosina, 5. ?*udentian (who has a child Michael), and 6. Bruno who dies at the age of 12.

The next entry lists the birth of Karolina, the illegitimate daughter of Andreas' sister Kreszenz.  The final entry in this colums is a duplication of the birth of Michael.

I have additional earlier records yet to go through that hopefully will allow me to tie this family in to what I know. I have placed most of the individuals above together with all other available information in the online family tree.

Addendum.  I found a more modern series of Family Registers in which this register is updated and extended to a later generation. It confirms that Andreas and Genovefa have only two children, but are the heads of house for their large extended family- the descendants of their patriarch Rupert who died relatively young.
